find myself
I am traveling
under Orders _ Am
to report in Person
with important Govt.
Dispatches _ to the Adju=
=tant General of the
State of Minnesota
at Saint Paul.
Shall be Compelled
to pass by my own
home _ darling with-
-out stopping until said
Dispatches are de-

here He was also
bearer of Dispatches
for the commandant
of the Post of Cairo
_ and took a leave
of absence to visit
his friends _ on his
own hook _ he says
give Emma my love
and tell her that
when I return from
Minnesota _ He
is going with
me to Michigan
He is a “Gay _ Boy”
and I know you
will like him much.
After delivering
my Dispatches I
shall _ go to my home
from there to
my Darling Emma
