I embrace this oper^ use
to say to say to you that I am
will I received a letter from
you sum days a go but have
bin to buiscy to write we
left Camp the 12th & have
bin on the march since
that [illegible in original] post once the [famous?]
[Bruce Batelfield?] a day or
two a go left Center ville
yesterday it is very warm
& day the [words illegible in original]
whare it has a chance it
was in the Pine [scratched out word] woods
near us last night & went
higher than the trees I never
saw the roads as dustey
as they are hear & water
[illegible in original] & scarse whare we are
going is unknown to us
but I supose the rebes are
