    Dec [21?][st?] Dear one
            this day findes
me in good health in
Camp a few miles from
our last Camp we mar
tch yesterday sum said for
Reb Plains but that we
do not know we are
[mustering?] for our provisions
to cum up for we are out
and I I am buising
my self writeing and
makeing Soope in a [pints?]
cup for want of sum thing
[larger?] I threw a way [illegible]
[2 words illegible] on the Batel
feald and it [leaves?] us
rather shorte of tin ware
I will send this the first
chance I have but it may
be sum days yours with
